Gillian Chapman, Ed.D. — Dr. Chapman earned a bachelor's degree from Pepperdine University in Malibu, California; a master's degree in curriculum and instruction from Central Missouri State University; Spanish licensure at the University of Oklahoma; administrator's licensure through University of Missouri at Kansas City; and a doctorate in administration and leadership from St. Louis University. She has been teaching at the University of Saint Mary for six years.
In addition to her teaching responsibilities at USM, Dr. Chapman also works full-time as the associate superintendent for the Shawnee Mission School District in the Kansas City suburbs, where she handles curriculum, instruction, staff development, media services, special education, career and technical education, title and federal programs, and technology.
Hattie Gilmore, Ed.D. — Dr. Gilmore has taught nearly every grade level since starting her education career in 1977. At USM, she has served as the director of the education program at the Overland Park Campus and taught in both the undergraduate and graduate programs. In 1999, she was involved in developing the curriculum of the new Master of Arts in Teaching program, the first distance education program offered by USM. She earned her doctorate from the University of Kansas.
Larry Gregg, Ed.D. — A teacher since 1969, some of the many roles Dr. Gregg has filled include school principal; director of elementary education; national consultant on school reform, school culture, professional development, and the change process; international instructor in Europe on comparative education; and university assistant professor in teacher education and urban leadership at USM and the University of Missouri-Kansas City. He holds a master's degree in teaching, a specialist's degree in educational administration, and a doctoral degree in educational policy and administration.
Sharrilyn Honacki — Professor Honacki has been a teacher since 1970 and served at Bonner Springs/Edwardsville (Kansas) Unified School District #204 for 28 years. Her professional responsibilities include working with K-12 teachers on quality performance and North Central Accreditation initiatives, grant writing, online instructional technology training with the local PBS-TV station, and teaching. She holds a bachelor's degree in education and a master's degree in education from Northern Arizona University and administrative certification from the University of Kansas.
Sister Frances Juiliano, Ed.D. — Sister Juiliano has been a member of the faculty at the University of Saint Mary since 1980 and the chair of the education department since 1998. Over the last several years, Sister Juiliano has been involved in several programs for the Kansas State Department of Education (KSDE) and has also coauthored, written, and managed several grants. She holds a bachelor's degree from USM, a master's degree from the University of Northern Colorado, and a doctorate in education from the University of Kansas.
