Ron Logan, Chair of the Business, Accounting, and Sports Management Department
Dr. Logan spent 20 years in the corporate sector, including Hallmark, Westvaco, and Jostens American Yearbook. He also has more than 20 years of experience in higher education administration and teaching. Prior to joining the University of Saint Mary faculty, Dr. Logan held several academic administrative positions at Rockhurst University's School of Management, including associate dean of the Helzberg School of Management. Previously at USM, he served as vice president and dean of the Overland Park Campus. Dr. Logan received his BA in Economics from UMKC, his MBA from Rockhurst University, and his Ed.D. from the University of Kansas.

Elizabeth Garza-Lang, Assistant Professor and Associate Director of Business Programs
Professor Garza-Lang has more than 20 years experience with for-profit and non-profit organizations, including Saint Luke's Hospital, DCI Management, and the Kansas City, Mo., School District. She received her BS in Business Administration from Rockhurst University, and her MS in Adult Education from Kansas State University.

Carlton Philpot, Assistant Professor
Professor Philpot has more than 35 years of senior-level leadership experience. A retired naval officer and former business owner, he has taught at every educational level from elementary through graduate school. He has extensive experience as a strategic, operational, and tactical planner, public speaking, and human resources and ethical training. He earned his BA in Biology/Pre-Med from Talladega College and his MS in Science of Management from Baker University.

David Reynolds, Associate Professor of Marketing
Professor Reynolds has been part of the University of Saint Mary faculty since 2004. Previously, he spent 28 years as a marketer in the travel and tourism industry, serving in leadership posts with the Branson Area Chamber of Commerce and the Iowa Division of Tourism. He earned his BA in Psychology/Education from Southwest Missouri State and his MA in Marketing from Webster University.

Don Orrell, Assistant Professor of Accounting
Professor Orrell worked for 10 years as a certified public accountant in both the private and public sectors. He spent more than 25 more years working as a programmer, system analyst, database administrator, and other management positions in the information technology field. With the University of Saint Mary since 2004, he previously taught at Avila University and Johnson County Community College. He earned his BS in Accounting from Kansas State University and his MA in Computer Management from Webster University.
